Swiss Days has been a Dowdle Folk Art tradition for more than seventeen years now. We love it! This is a festival found in beautiful Midway, Utah, where thousands of people from all over the country come to experience Swiss tradition, music, food, and crafts. It’s worth the drive with lush mountains, winding roads and beautiful reservoirs dotting the landscape. But the destination of Midway is an experience all its own. This Swiss hideaway features homes and businesses where they proudly display their Swiss architecture and other traditions.

Charming! That’s the best word to describe it.

In fact, Eric loves the city so much, he painted it. Commissioned by Bruce Summerhays (PGA Golfer), this beautiful rendition of Midway perfectly depicts its charm, as well as some fun vignettes from the Summerhays’ family history where they raised their family.
