Congratulations Eric! He recently received the Utah PTA Friend of the Children Award for his work in promoting the arts in Utah’s schools. In 2002 he established the Utah PTA Art Endowment to create a place where Utah schools could receive additional support for the arts. He partnered with the Utah PTA and Utah’s schools to raise funds through his Gingerbread House Festival (2002 – 2006).
In addition, Eric designed a piece of Art in honor of our schools and all they do to support and educate our children. As you look at this image, find Eric and I depicted as children. Eric is holding his childhood chicken. I am holding a tulip, my favorite flower.
